If you are looking for privacy, in a beautiful, quiet community, consider a home in Manhattan Village. Most homes in this planned development were built from 1983 to 1995. Many have been upgraded since then. Manhattan Village contains a mix of housing styles including large, estate homes, court homes and townhomes. Some homes have views of the adjacent golf course. Lot sizes for single family homes range from 4000 square feet to a few over 11,000 square feet.

  • Estate Homes - There are five different floor plans for these three and four bedroom single-family homes. Home styles include: Tudor, Cape Cod, French or Mediterranean.

  • Patio Homes - These townhomes come in single or two-story floor plans and include private patios.

  • Court Homes - There are four floor plans for these split-level, townhomes, which are clustered around a visitor parking court. The front of the home faces outward to a semi-private, landscaped courtyard.
There are two entrances to Manhattan Village off Marine Avenue. The public entrance is staffed with a guard at all times. There is an additional private gate to the Manhattan Village Mall for residents. Parking space for visitors is plentiful within Manhattan Village. There are no schools in Manhattan Village and there is no outside traffic. The community has 2 pools, numerous in-ground spas, and lushly landscaped open areas.

To the northwest of Manhattan Village (and within the Manhattan Village MLS area) is a zone designated Residential Senior Citizen. Manhattan Village Senior Villas, an apartment community, is located there.

To the west of Manhattan Village, along Sepulveda Boulevard is the Manhattan Village Mall, which is zoned Community Commercial. To the north is the golf course, senior housing, a park and hotel property. To the east of Manhattan Village is Marine Avenue Park and an industrial park.
